Art Gallery – More Remakes with the Beautiful Fine Art Floral Designer Papers

On Sunday morning, I was hurrying up the two steps from my family room to my dining room to answer the phone, and I tripped and fell hard on my right side.  I brushed myself off and thought everything was fine until I started noticing my one of my ribs.  By Monday, my body was in overwhelm trying to deal with the shifting and adjusting so I didn’t post for Tuesday!

Right after Christmas I started doing series of Pilates stretches that take less than 5 minutes!  The Pilates stretches are what kept me from experiencing more serious angst in my body after my fall!  I would really encourage you to join me in strengthening your core.  You can go to You Tube and search for Matt Kucher, Pilates for Seniors.  He’s a great instructor and has an Australian accent.  If your core isn’t strong, then what  a chiropractor does to help probably won’t hold.  At least that is the way that it has worked with me.

People have been telling me for years, really, to do some Pilates!!  Thank heavens I am finally listening!

I had a lot of fun remaking the design of my original card into the following ideas with the Fine Art Floral Designer Papers!  Hope you enjoy them!

Rococo Rose and Very Vanilla card stocks and Rococo Rose ink

Pretty Peacock card stock and ink

Poppy Parade card stock with Real Red ink

You wouldn’t really realize that the ink is Real Red and not Poppy Parade like the card stock.  The Real Red pops more!

This is Seaside Spray card stock with Misty Moonlight ink.

Art Gallery Remakes with the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Papers

I’m going to show you three different ideas with how to use the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Papers (DSP).

Originally, I designed this card because I was trying to use the greetings and the dies that are in the Art Gallery Bundle. Then I saw a card by Carol Payne who used the primary color for the card along with the  Painted Texture Embossing Folder. I didn’t have the punch that she used, so I decided to use the Detailed Bands Dies instead.  On this one I used Poppy Parade for the card stock and Real Red ink for the greeting.  It really makes it pop!

The embossed layer is 5 1/8″x 4 7/8″.  The white layer is 4 1/2″x 3 1/4″. The DSP is 4 1/4″x 3″. You can make cards with this size of DSP.

Then I decided to try using the white background like I originally did just with the Detailed Bands Dies. I like both the second and third ideas a lot more than my original idea. The background card stock is Poppy Parade and the Thank You is inked with Poppy Parade.  But the band is cut out with Real Red card stock which makes it pop more!  The background c/s is 5 1/8″x 3 7/8″.  The DSP is 4 7/8″x 3 5/8″.

Lots of Hearts Bundle – Valentines!

I absolutely LOVE this Lots of Hearts Valentine Bundle out of the January-June Mini Catalog.

Click here to view the You Tube Video.

This card that I designed uses some pieces from the set and the dies.

This card is 11″ x 4 1/4″ and is scored at 5 1/2″. Then I cut the front at 4 1/4″ and ran it through the Painted Texture Embossing Folder.  Then I cut the Real Red c/s

The Real Red c/s for the inside is 4 1/4″ x 4 3/8″.  When you look at the card from the front, I just wanted the red to show a little bit beyond the 4 1/4″ white front piece. You can add the red behind the white and then run both pieces through your embossing machine at the same time.

The big hearts on the right, the flowers, and the green leaves are all from the Lots of Hearts Dies.  I used the Medium size Rhinestones to make the card.

The greeting is from the Lots of Heart Stamp set.  It is great for Valentines or anytime.II have listed all of the products that are now available that  you will need to create this project  Please include the January Host Code which is J7ACKXTU in your online order unless your order is $150 or more.  When your order reaches $150, you begin earning FREE PRODUCTS yourself, so you will not use the hostess code in that case.  Click on any picture below to go straight to my online store!
