This is a simple idea for a treat or a gift holder made with the Celebration Tidings Dies.
Wow! I really made these large! Oh well, you can see them easily, that’s for sure! They are 4 1/2″ wide by 3″ high.
Here’s one for Fall That I have already posted. But I wanted you to see how cute it is again with a treat in it. The pumpkin comes from the Harvest Hello set and is punched out with the Apple Builder Punch. I used Plaid Tidings designer paper with the Embroidered Ribbon in the Holiday Catalog.
Michelle Halleen gave me this idea and I’m not sure who she is giving credit to.
I want you to see how to score the die cut piece.I used the largest die in the set. And then I scored 1/8″ to the right of the center and 1/8″ to the left of the center. If you score to the left and the right, then you have a little more space to add a treat. If you are just putting a gift card in this treat, then you could just score it right in the center and you would be fine.
Use the next largest die to cut out the designer paper. Then cut it in half and you can get two treats out of one piece of designer paper.
I used 15″ of ribbon around the treat. The Merry Christmas that I used is in the Celebration Tidings Set. I cut the greeting out with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
Thank you for stopping by.
