My son’s daughter, MaKenzee is turning one this week!

I decided that it might be fun to try to design a cube card for her birthday.

I dipped into my retired designer papers to find a pink that looked like a party!!

Here’s what I came up with.  I think that it is pretty busy.  But I figure that a one year old is not going to give a critique of her card!!!

Click here to watch my You Tube Video with the steps to make the EASY CUBE STYLE CARD.

It doesn’t look easy, but trust me.  It is!

  • You are so loved is from the set “A Grand Kid”.
  • I cut out the You are so loved with one of the Layering Squares Dies.
  • The Happy Birthday is from Peaceful Moments but I could have used the one from A Grand Kid.
  • I cut out the Happy birthday with one of the Stitched so Sweetly Dies.
  • The numbers are the retired “LIttle Numbers” from several years ago.  I’ve got to get busy and order the Playful Alpabet Dies that have both letters and numbers!!!
  • The Melon Mambo Designer Paper was in my retired stash.  I needed something bright and girly for MaKenzee!!!
  • I used the Absolutely Argyle Embossing Folder on the balloons from the Balloon Bouquet Punch.
  • I forgot to add it below, but I used the Umbrella Builder Punch to get the stems for the balloons.

have listed below the  products that were used on the this card.
