This week I was using my electric Big Shot Express to cut out the pieces for my Christmas cards!

(I'm trying to finish before September so I don't get into a crunch later in the fall!)

All of a sudden, the gears started sounding funny….and then it ground to a halt…WITH MY BETHLEHEM EDGELETS TRAPPED INSIDE!!!

I took a hammer and tried to pound the platform through to the other side…Nope!

Then I took several screw drivers and unscrewed every single screw hoping that I could take it apart…Well!  I took it apart, but the rollers still would not let go of my edgelits!

So I gave up until my son could take a look at it.  It took Brad about five minutes to figure out how to take the gears apart and rescue my edgelits!

Sizzix is now working on a new electric cutter so I am once again using the traditional Big Shot.

The electric cutter is a lot easier on my back.

I'm about 85% finished with my cards!

The greeting is from the Star of Light Christmas Set and is embossed with silver embossing powder.  The silver Bethlehem scene is raised with dimensionals.

I used the Stamparatus to position both stamps so that I could stamp them at the same time.  Piece of cake!!!

My good friend, Michelle Halleen, sent me this beautiful card last year and it was my inspiration.
