I will first show you the card that I designed and then I will show you how to do it.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for more designs using this technique!

I'm using a flower from the Tropical Chic Set.

TropEscapePinkCircle

Here is how you make this card.

  • Cut one piece of 7"x 7" white card stock (c/s) and draw a line down the center in both directions.
  • Cut one piece of 7"x 7" acetate and lay it on top of the white c/s.
  • Cut one piece of 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and draw a line down the center in both directions.
  • Lay the 3 1/2" square on top of the 7" square like you see in the picture. Use a Sharpie to draw a line around the 3 1/2" square onto the acetate.
  • The turn the 3 1/2" square of paper diagonally, making sure that each tip lines up on one of the black lines.
  • Again, take the Sharpie and draw a line around the square.

  • Take away the 3 1/2" white square with the lines on it.
  • Insert the large white square with the lines and the acetate with the squares into the Stamparaus.
  • Place a clean 3 1/2" white square into the center of the blue lines and you are ready to stamp!
  • Place the stamp where you want it to go.
  • Close the Stamparatus plate down over it.  The stamp will stick to the stamparatus and you are ready ink and stamp!
  • StamparatusCirtutIII     StamparatusCirTutIV
  • Ink the stamp as it is fastened to the Stamparatus plate and then stamp it onto the card stock.
  • You can see below that after I stamped the first flower, I have rotated the 3 1/2" white card stock so that now the points are lined up diagonally.
  • You'll stamp and turn the card stock 8 times until you have gone all the way around the circle.
  • Check out the first picture again to see the finished product!

  • The card base is 5" square. (10"x 5", folded in half)
  • The Tropical Escape Designer Paper is 4 3/4" square.
  • The Black layer is 4" square.
  • The Powder Pink layer is 3 3/4" square.
  • The white square that you stamped on is 3 1/2" square.
  • Lay the greeting stsamp in the center of the stamped flowers.
  • Pull the second Stamparatus plate down over it.
  • Ink the image in black and stamp it into the perfect placement!  Ink it and Stamp it again if you need to!
