I am using a lot of ideas for my August classes that have either been cased from or inspired by trades from other talented demonstrators.
Today's beautiful card is a CASE (copy and steal everything) of Lee Conrey's idea.
Sets: # 123027 Fabulous Florets pg 107 $17.95;
Card stocks: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, and Pink Pirouette pg 167 ff
Inks: Certainly Celery (stem), Pink Pirouette (first coat of the flower), Pretty in Pink (accent for the flower)
Markers: Pink Pirouette (there is a tiny bud that you can color pink), Always Artichoke (add some of this color to some of the sides of the leaves after you stamp the whole thing in Celery and before you stamp it on the white c/s)
Accessories: #103954 Aqua painters pg 203 set of two $16.95; #119247 Basic Pearls pg 198 $4.95; #117289 Pretty in Pink 5/8" Satin Ribbon pg 195 $8.95;
Big Shot: #120893 Tasteful Trim pg221 $42.95 (pink scallops);
Note: I want to give you the sizes for the layers of the card stocks. Other than the base card, the next white layer is 5"x 3 1/4". The Pretty in Pink is 4 1/2"x 2 3/4". The Pink Pirouette is 1/8" less or 4 3/8"x 2 /8". The smallest white layer is also just 1/8" smaller so it is 4 1/4" x 2 1/2"
Also, I used a bow maker to make the bow. The two ends pull around to the back of the card and fastene down there.
One more note: Color the flower (stamped in StazOn black) with a very light amount of Pink Pirouette (Aqua Painter). Then go back and add the Pretty in Pink highlights (Aqua Painter)
