I see people using marker additional color(s) in the Take a Spin Images.  I LOVE the way they look! I'm just not willing to take all of the time and effort to do it myself!  So I have decided to go monochromatic!

Here is my Baja Breeze version.  I've used the Subtle Designer Sereies paper Pack and the Square Lattice Embossing Folder to add some interest. Don't miss the thin white layer that makes the square lattice layer pop!

To get the color on the Square Lattice die, use a brayer  Baja Breeze ink onto the bottom or back side of the embossing folder.  Simply insert the card stock into the embossing folder and run it through the Big Shot. Very simple!

Cut the white layer 5 1/4"x 4" and cut the layer to be embossed 1/8" less or 5 1/8"x 3 7/8".

Supplies:  #117152 Subtle Designer Paper Pack (! 1/2"x 4"), Baja Breeze c/s (3/4"x 4" for the band)

Punches:  #120906 2 1/2" Circle Punch page 11 Occasions Mini $16.96; #119858 Boho Blossoms Punch page 200 $16.95;

Accessories:  #121893 Game Spinner Hands (12) $3.95 page 10 Occasions Mini; #119976 Square Lattice Embossing Folder page 214 $7.95; #102395 Brayer page 185 $12.50; Dimensionals;

Pad:  Baja Breeze-#111833 page 167;

Here is a Poppy Parade Version of Take A Spin.

I used the #119882 Scallop Border Punch on a 4" white square to get the white layer.  The Poppy Parade Scallop comes from #120903 Scallop Square Duo Bigz Die (Holiday Mini but still available) $21.95. I cut the stamped layer down to 2 1/2" square and used the #119263 Poppy Parade Poly-Stitched Ribbon around the front of the card.  I also added a little rhinestone to the "Make A Wish" section. Dimensionals under the Poppy layer.

PLease e-mail me and let me know what do you think about the monochromatic?

Will it make it more likely that you might give that stamp set a try?
